may He be your refuge and your fortress, your God in whom you trust,

may He save you from every snare and danger,

may He cover you and may His faithfulness be your shield and rampart,

may He command His angels to guard you in all your ways,

  • Dear Michael Flately, you are the reason I fell in love 20 years ago with Ireland, the culture, music and dancing. You are pure magic on stage and it is mesmerizing. You truly are blessed with a wonderful talent. I will finally be able to see you live in Las Vegas March 17th at Ceasars Palace. I would love the opportunity to meet you in person. God bless you and thank you for being an inspiration and for bringing the music to life.

  • Hi Mr Michael Flatley. It was a honor and a great pleasure to see you on Broadway right after Christmas 2015'. I was greatly surprised with the Christmas gift I received from my Children Debbie and Hubby Wayne, 3 of my Grandchildren Thomas, Tara, and Tina, and my son Steven. I cried then, and 2 days later when family sat me in my seat in the Broadway Show, I was still crying. By the time I finally saw you come out and dance, I was Hysterical. After the show we waited for you at the stage door. When we met, you held my hand and was hugging me, while my granddaughter took pictures. You are the nicest, and sweetest person that I have ever known. I did forget to tell you that when I was a child, I took Irish step dancing lessons for about 5 yrs growing up in the Bronx NY. I am a 76 yr. old senior, and as long as I left in my lifetime I will always remember meeting you Mr. Flatley. May God bless you and keep you well...,<3...

  • Michael,

I am so excited to finally have the opportunity to see you dance live. I am a TCRG in west Michigan and your role in Riverdance is quite literally the reason I started dancing – and not just because Riverdance was a great show. As the story goes, my aunt, Clare Brennan, had a friend named Beata Flatley who worked with her at Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills, California back in the mid 1990s. Beata knew that Clare was from Ireland, and one day she gave her a pre-release copy of a show called Riverdance , saying that her husband Michael had starred in it and that she thought Clare’s young nieces might enjoy it. I was six at the time. I almost wore that VHS copy of Riverdance to bits – and Irish dancing became my life. At my first dancing competition at the Irish Heritage Center in San Francisco, Dennis Dennehy gave me my first medals in the Light Jig and the Reel – and now, more than 20 years later, I am a teacher with my very own school in Grand Rapids Michigan called Scoil Rince Ni Bhraonain, just a few miles up the road from Chicago where you started your own journey. We followed the opening of your show in New York while cheering on Cian Smith, the son of Michael Smith, who was one of my teachers growing up – and now you’re coming to Michigan! I’m bringing some of my students to your March 1st show in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and since this will be the only time I get to see you dance live, I want to take this chance to thank you for everything. Michael, it would be an honor to meet you & I know my students would love it, but of course, I understand what tour life must be like and seeing you dance will be enough a gift in itself. Thank you for bringing so much life to the world of Irish dancing. Yes, people now refer to our art form as 'riverdancing' and I for one know exactly what part you played in that. Best of luck on your tour and I'll see you on the stage in Michigan.

    -Elizabeth Brennan
